There’s a version of finance that runs 24/7 with no banks, no KYC forms, and no one who can freeze your account. It’s called DeFi, and while most people focus on crypto prices, this system has quietly been growing in the background.

This workshop is your entry point. You’ll learn what DeFi actually is, why it exists, and how it differs from both traditional banking and the crypto exchanges you might already know.

We’ll also explore the difference between centralized exchanges (CEX) like Binance or Bybit and decentralized exchanges (DEX), and why that distinction matters more than most people realize. We’ll touch on lending and borrowing in DeFi, one of the most powerful tools available to everyday users.

No laptops needed for this one. It’s conceptual, practical, and designed to give you a clear map of the landscape. Workshop 2 is where things become hands-on.
